PRIOBUDE-400 is a combination inhalation therapy containing Formoterol Fumarate (a long-acting bronchodilator) and Budesonide (a corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory properties). This formulation is specially designed for the management of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), helping patients achieve better control over breathing difficulties and improving overall lung function.

Composition (per dose):

• Formoterol Fumarate  6 mcg (approx.)

• Budesonide   400 mcg (approx.)

Mechanism of Action:

• Formoterol Fumarate: Provides long-acting bronchodilation by relaxing airway smooth muscles, ensuring easier airflow and rapid relief of symptoms like wheezing and breathlessness.

• Budesonide: Reduces airway inflammation, swelling, and mucus formation, thus preventing asthma attacks and COPD exacerbations.

Indications:

• Asthma (when inhaled corticosteroid and long-acting bronchodilator combination therapy is required)
